Experts in cross-border cooperation shared their knowledge and experiences in planning, preparation and implementation of CBC activities. The social programme included a trip on an ancient barge on the Emajõgi River, an excursion to the Estonian – Russian border and meeting border guards, visiting Setu Open Air museum, a nature reserve and other exciting summer events.
The summer school on cross-border cooperation was held already fifth time since 2002; it has become a real laboratory for the elaboration of cooperative cross-border initiatives in the Eastern Baltic region – young and experienced CBC experts, students, NGOs representatives from different countries work together for a week and develop ideas for the cooperation that can be later transferred into successful cooperative projects.
